Florida’s most popular family attraction consists of: The Magic Kingdom Park, Disney’s Animal Kingdom Park, Epcot and Disney’s Hollywood Studios. The two wonderful water parks Blizzard Beach and Typhoon Lagoon have long entertained children and parents over many years.

What can be described as the most magical place on the planet Walt Disney World Resort simply thrives on imagination. A resort bounded by the world’s most miraculous theme parks and incredible water parks, you’ll be swept away by what there is to do here. Additions such as Disney Springs, Disney’s Boardwalk and ESPN Wide World of Sports cater to a more adult crowd with shopping, restaurants, theatres and music venues.

Disney Springs is an outdoor shopping, dining, and entertainment complex at the Walt Disney World Resort in Bay Lake, consisting of different areas named Town Center, The Landing, West Side and Marketplace. Each has a distinct feel, with the current West Side and Marketplace basically retaining their current layouts. Combined there are more than 150 stores, restaurants and entertainment locations.

Disney’s BoardWalk is a quarter-mile promenade of exquisite dining, unique shops and exciting nightlife. Stroll along the water’s edge, play afternoon midway games and discover evening street performers. Evoking turn-of-the-century boardwalks in such coastal cities as Coney Island and Atlantic City, Disney’s BoardWalk is a short stroll to Epcot and a breezy boat ride to Disney’s Hollywood Studios.

The ESPN Wide World of Sports Complex is a 220 acres athletic complex located in the Walt Disney World Resort, in Bay Lake, Florida, near Orlando, Florida. The complex includes 9 venues and hosts numerous amateur and professional sporting events throughout the year.

Disney’s Typhoon Lagoon Water Park is more like that of a traditional waterpark you may have visited. Tropical music, sandy beaches, lush palm trees, and relaxing beach settings make this park great if you’re looking for a true tropical getaway – reminiscent of Disney’s private island – Castaway Cay. A great family water park particularly suitable for younger children.

Disney’s Blizzard Beach Water Park is the newer of the two water parks and has numerous water attraction features and dining options including Summit Plummet, one of the most extreme water attractions. It is a wintry-themed water park.
